Within our end-of-life care range we supply a range of finished products including shrouds, stretcher pillows and body bags.
The products are available for bulk purchase for use in the medical and mortuary industries.
Products are available in a variety of materials including Spunbond Polypropylene and PEVA (polyethylene vinyl acetate)
Spunbond Polypropylene is a textile material that is composed of thermally bonded, continuous filaments in a web-like structure. This gives it a good tear and puncture resistance with high tensile strength in all directions.
The material is strong and light and resists moisture, staining and chemicals. Being constructed of 100% polypropylene it can easily be recycled.
PEVA is a copolymer of polyethylene and EVA and as such is a biodegradable, non-chlorinated vinyl. The weight of available evidence indicates that the absence of chlorine in the formula will generally reduce the life cycle environmental health impacts of PEVA meaning that they are less harmful than PVC.
We supply a range of shrouds suitable for use in dressing the deceased.
These are available in a range of sizes, styles and fabrics.
Our most popular economy shroud is manufactured in non woven spunbond polypropylene.
Our shrouds are manufactured to NHS specifications and meet with the needs of funeral directors.
